Connect generation assets to the market

Direct marketing requires suitable metering, communication and control technology with clearly defined interfaces.

A solution designed around the project

Prepare technical market capability

Metering data, remote control and plant communication are structured for the intended operating model.

Designed rather than guessed

The concept is based on the building, technical conditions, demand and intended use.

Interfaces included

Existing systems and sensible future components are considered from the outset.

Clear next steps

Assessment, planning and implementation are divided into transparent project phases.

The interface between asset and market

Required equipment depends on plant type, capacity, grid situation and the selected marketing model.

We assess the technical setup and coordinate the required components with the involved partners.

  • Review of existing plant communication
  • Metering and control concept
  • Coordination of technical interfaces

From first assessment to implementation

1. Requirements

We clarify goals, current systems and the technical context.

2. Assessment

Relevant building, site, grid and consumption data are assessed.

3. Concept

The components and interfaces are combined in a coherent design.

4. Next phase

Scope, responsibilities and the route to implementation are agreed.

Frequently asked questions

What determines the design?

The decisive factors are the site, demand, existing infrastructure, intended operation and planned extensions.

Can existing technology be included?

Often yes. Compatibility, interfaces and the condition of the existing system must be checked individually.

Is the solution expandable?

Expandability can be included in the initial design, provided the technical framework is defined accordingly.

When is a binding offer possible?

Once the relevant technical information, site conditions and desired scope have been clarified.

Prepare direct marketing technically

We assess the asset and interfaces and define the necessary technical steps.

 OUR PARTNER

Direct marketing – Ever thought about it?

We offer PV direct marketing services in partnership with a specialized provider. In addition to marketing the electricity, this provider can also handle the associated administrative tasks for you, saving you a great deal of bureaucracy and paperwork. Put your trust in specialists and reap the benefits of direct marketing!

Legal requirements

1. Measurement of feed-in
The electricity fed into the grid must be measured using a meter that enables 15-minute interval metering. Photovoltaic systems with a capacity of less than 100 kWp currently require an intelligent metering system (iMSys) for this purpose. However, for PV systems with a capacity exceeding 100 kWp, a load-profile meter (RLM meter) is required.
2. Live data on actual feed-in

The direct marketer must be able to retrieve the actual feed-in data from the photovoltaic system.

3. Remote controllability

The direct marketer must be able to remotely control solar installations with a capacity exceeding 25 kWp.

Your contact for direct marketing

Get more out of your solar yields! Through direct marketing, you can earn up to three times more than with the standard feed-in tariff. Direct marketing is an attractive option for smaller solar installations, too. Despite fluctuating market prices, the market premium model ensures that system operators always receive revenue based on the EPEX Spot price plus the market premium.
